WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning, especially our guests.  We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.


THE CANDLE LIGHTERS for this morning’s worship service are Krista Stueckrath and Paige Schuettler.  Wednesday evening they will be Paige Schultze and Laurel Krohn.    Next Sunday morning they will be Chelsea Wiese and Ryley Kumm.


WE REMEMBER IN OUR PRAYERS TODAY:   Bernice Kumm, Glen Kumm, Ben Zechmann, Darrel Kahny, Dorothy Anson, Grant Pfanstiel and Travis Bartz.  We also include a prayer for the family of Evaline Hoeppner, as she entered God’s eternal keeping last Friday morning.  If you have prayer requests for any members of your family or friends, please notify Pastor or the church secretary to have them added and also when you want them removed.


THE PRESCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM will be held this afternoon beginning at 4:00 p.m.  Everyone is invited to attend.

THE LYF will go Christmas Caroling this afternoon at about 5:45 p.m., after they are finished packing the Christmas Sacks.


BIBLE STUDY will be held on Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m.              


MIDWEEK AND CONFIRMATION CLASSES for students in the 5th thru 8th grades will meet Wednesday afternoon at 3:45 p.m.


THE LYF ADVENT WORSHIP SERVICE will be held on Wednesday evening, December 19th beginning at 7:30 p.m.


THE FELLOWSHIP HOUR following the Advent Worship Service will be hosted by the members of the LYF.  LYF members are reminded to bring bars or cookies to serve for the fellowship hour and also help serve and clean up.


SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM PRACTICE will be held on  Saturday morning, December 22, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  Nursery and Pre-school need to come to this practice, as it is the last Saturday practice before Christmas.


THE CHOIR WILL NOT SING NEXT SUNDAY, DECEMBER 23RD,  but they will sing the following Sunday, December 30th.  So mark your calendars.



are now completely funded for this year.  If you still want to help them out this year they do have a project called the KHWE Project which covers the expense of materials and supplies for the upkeep of their office.  This project is not just for the Beckendorf’s use, but is for all of the missionary projects of the KHWE.  If you do not specify the KHWE Project, the funds will be used for other LBT projects.  After the New Year the 2013 Beckendorf Ministry Project will then be open for funding again.


SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS MISSION PROJECT:  This year’s Sunday School Mission Project is to grant Christmas Wishes to area Foster children in Pierce and Madison Counties.  All members of the congregation are encouraged to participate.  Suggested gift items include the following:



            Socks                           All sizes are needed in either

            Underwear                         NEW or LIKE NEW condition

            Hats & Mittens or gloves



            Little army guys


            Any type of art supplies (colors, construction paper, markers, etc.

            Princess items

            Hello Kitty items

            Any type of dress-up

            Play money

            Silly Putty


            Books  (Pre-school thru High School ages)


            For Teenagers –small, medium or large shirts (male or female)

            Coupons to a fast food restaurant would be a treat


Gift items may be brought to church and placed in the boxes under the tree in the new educational wing, where the Sunday School meets for their opening devotions.  (Please leave the gifts unwrapped).
