Announcements for October 21, 2012

immanuelosmond | 23 October, 2012 13:29

WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning, especially our guests.  We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

THE CANDLE LIGHTERS for this morning’s worship service are Levi Gutz ana Ryley Kumm..  Next Sunday morning they will be Cody Kralicek and Krista Stueckrath.

WE REMEMBER IN OUR PRAYERS TODAY:   Glen Kumm, Gene Kruse, and Doyle Timmerman.  We join Josh and Jennifer Brummels in giving thanks to God for the gift of  twin sons, Lane Rodney and Reid Vernon, this past week.  We also include a prayer for Nathan and Amanda Schieffer, who were married, here at Immanuel, yesterday.  We also include a prayer for Kelsey Koehler and Kearney Lackas, who plan to be married, next Saturday.  If you have prayer requests for any members of your family or friends, please notify Pastor or the church secretary to have them added and also when you want them removed.

THE CHURCH DINNER COMMITTEE would like to thank everyone for their donations of time, money and food.  We served around 550 people.  The amount of support and effort put in by our church family truly amazed and humbled us.  If you have not yet given your monetary donation you may still do that.  Please give these to Cindy Kumm.  If you have any ideas for disbursing the funds, please give those suggestions to Leoma Fuelberth or Nancy von the next couple of weeks.  A congregational meeting will be held in November to decide on money disbursements.

A JACKET WAS  LEFT AT THE CITY AUDITORIUM LAST SUNDAY following the Windsor Loin Dinner.  It is a gray Nike sweatshirt, size small.  If you are missing your jacket, please check out the coat rack in the east entry of the church.

WE COULD ALSO USE A REPRESENTATIVE FOR LUTHERAN CHURCH EXTENSION FUND.  If interested, please contact Pastor or Denise in the church office.

IF YOU ARE ALREADY MAKING PLANS FOR NEXT SUMMER,  please consider volunteering to serve as the VBS director, as Julie Slagle has decided to take some time off.

PLEASE STOP IN THE KITCHEN FOLLOWING THIS MORNING’S WORSHIP SERVICE and pick op your bowls, pie pans, cake pans and all other containers from the Windsor Loin Dinner, as the countertops are full.  Thank You!!!
