WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning, especially our guests.  We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.


THE CANDLE LIGHTERS for this morning’s worship service are Courtnie Lambrecht

and Paige Schultze.  Next Sunday they will be Paige Schuettler and Brianna Kumm.

A SIGN-UP SHEET for pies for the Windsor Loin Dinner is posted on the easel in the rear of the church.  If you were asked to bring pies for the church dinner, please specify what kind of pie you are planning to bring.  Thank You.


A NOMINATION COMMITTEE MEETING made up of all 2nd year  elected positions  will be held this evening at 7:00 p.m. to work on a ballot for the Voter’s Assembly Meeting next month. Your attendance will be very much



QUILT TYING will be held Monday afternoon beginning at 1:00 p.m.


BIBLE STUDY will be held Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m.


MIDWEEK AND CONFIRMATION will meet Wednesday afternoon beginning at 3:45 p.m.


LYF BELL CHOIR PRACTICE will be held this Wednesday evening, October 3rd at 6:30 p.m. prior to the LYF Meeting.


PLEASE NOTE!!!  The LYF Meeting that was scheduled for next week has been rescheduled to this Wednesday, October 3rd at 7:30 p.m.  Please mark your calendars.


LWML SUNDAY will be observed next Sunday with a special printed order of service and Holy Communion.


IMMANUEL’S WINDSOR LOIN DINNER will be held on Sunday, October 14th with serving from 11:00  a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Osmond City Auditorium.. Ticket prices are:

             7th Grade – Adult………………………………….$9.00

            Preschool – 6th Grade……………………………..$5.00

        Everyone is encouraged to attend and join their fellow members of Immanuel in this worthwhile endeavor.


REMINDER!!  Worship services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 14th, so that members can attend worship services and still attend the Windsor Loin Dinner.  Also, there will not by any Sunday School or Bible Classes that day.


THE INTERSECTION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!!  Tune in to The Intersection of Church & State, airing on the Fox Business Channel as paid programming this evening.  This Lutheran Hour Ministries production’s will be aired at 4:00 p.m. Central Time;  The Intersection of Church & State, a production of Lutheran Hour Ministries, spends a profitable hour exploring the give-and-take relationship shared by church and state in this country.  Expert commentary from clergy and government officials, lawyers, educators and social service providers offer insights and depth to the historical background and ongoing fruition of this vital liaison.  Viewers are reminded that though the church-state connection can be contentious at times, enormous good is accomplished when the two work together, addressing human concerns in a collaborative manner. 

    Program host for this election year program is the Rev. Gregory Seltz, the Speaker of The Lutheran Hour.


HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED BEING A PASTOR OR DEACONESS?  If so, Rev. Kyle Castens from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis would like to meet with you at Grace Lutheran Church, Norfolk, Nebraska on Wednesday, November 7th, anytime between 4:30 and 7:00 p.m.  Rev. Castens is interested in meeting with prospective seminary students of all ages – elementary school age, confirmation class students, high school students, college students, through adults who are already employed in another vocation.  Conferences are individual, informal, and family/friends are welcome.  Reservations are not necessary, but strongly encouraged.  If you are interested in scheduling a specific conference time, please call Rev.
