WE WELCOME everyone who has worshipped with us this morning, especially our guests.  We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.


THE CANDLE LIGHTERS for this morning’s worship service are Levi and Seth Gutz.   Next Sunday they will be Cody Nuesch and Laurel Krohn.

WE REMEMBER IN OUR PRAYERS TODAY: Mardelle Buckendahl, Evaline Hoeppner, Marlin Schultze, and Doyle Timmerman.  We also include a prayer for the family of LaVerle Korth, a former member of Immanuel, who entered God’s eternal keeping this past week.  If you have prayer requests for family or friends, please notify Pastor or the church secretary to have them added and also removed.

THE LUTHERAN HOUR:  Delores Kumm and her family are sponsoring today’s Lutheran Hour broadcast in memory of  her husband Duane Kumm.  Mr. Kumm entered eternal glory February 17, 2000.  The Lutheran Hour is broadcast each Sunday on WJAG (AM – 780 and FM – 105.9) at 12:30 P.M. as a project of Zone 11 of the Nebraska District Lutheran Laymen’s League.  Thank you to Delores Kumm and her family for their assistance in “Bringing Christ to the Nations and the Nations to the Church.”


WE WELCOME Keith and Kecia Christensen and family, Melissa, Nathan and Matthew as new members of Immanuel, as they have transferred their church membership from Pacific Hills Lutheran Church, Omaha, NE to Immanuel.  Welcome to Immanuel!


BIBLE STUDY will be held Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m.


QUILT TYING will be held tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. in the quilter’s room in the educational wing.  All past quilters and well as anyone who would like to help tie and enjoy an afternoon of fellowship is invited to attend.


WORK, FOOD AND DONATION SLIPS for the Fall Windsor Loin Dinner have been put in your bulletin boxes.  If you didn’t receive a slip, please contact one of the following committee members: Leoma Fuelberth, Nancy von Rentzell, Cindy Kumm,  Jennifer von Rentzell.


A SIGN-UP SHEET for pies for the Windsor Loin Dinner is posted on the easel in the rear of the church.  If you were asked to bring pies for the church dinner, please specify what kind of pie you are planning to bring.  Thank You.


MIDWEEK AND CONFIRMATION CLASSES for students in the 5th thru 8th grades will meet Wednesday afternoon at 3:45 p.m.


THE MEMBERS OF FIRST TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, BLOOMFIELD will celebrate their annual Fall Festival today.  They will serve a roast beef dinner which will consist of roast beef, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, a dinner roll, and a salad and dessert bar.  The meal will be served from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  The cost will be $8.00 for Adults, $4.00 for children under the age of 10.  A Country Store will also be provided.


ST. MARY’S SCHOOL SWISS STEAK DINNER,  featuring a salad bar will be held today at the Osmond City Auditorium with serving from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  The cost for adults  will be $9.00,  children age 3 through sixth grade $4.00.  Also featuring drawings for cash prizes.                                    



Only two students had perfect Sunday School attendance in July, they were:                                          Kindergarten—Anna Kahny     4th Grade--------Mary Kahny
