WE WELCOME everyone who has worshipped with us this morning, especially our guests.  We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

 

THE CANDLE LIGHTERS for this mornings's worship service are Daniel wiese and Ben Johnson.  Next Sunday they will be Seth and Levi Gutz.

WE REMEMBER IN OUR PRAYERS TODAY:  Mardelle buckendahl, Evaline Hoeppner, Steve Kumm, Doyle Timmerman, Darrel Kahny and Beth Johnson.  We also include a prayer of thanksgiving for 55 years of wedded life for Gene and Mildred Kruse, who celebrated their wedding anniversary yeaterday.  We also include a prayer for the family of Rebecca Schincke, whose funeral was held last Thursday.  If you have prayer requests for family or friends, please notify Pastor or the church secretary to have them added and also removed.

 

THE FLOWERS AR THE ALTAR AND ON THE ORGAN AND PIANO are fron the funeral of Rebacca Schincke.  We thank her family for sharing them with us and extend our sincere sympathy.

 

THE ROSE ON THE ALTAR has been placed by Mardelle Koehler in memory of her husband Arlan, who passed away 15 years ago today.

 

HOLY BAPTISM: Today, we welcome Elliot LeeAnne Kumm, infant daughter of Joel and Erin Kumm, as a member of God's family, through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism.  Her sponsors are Ted and Kelli thelen and Jeffray and Brittany Kumm.  We welcome Elliot into our family of faith.

 

QUILT TYING resumes tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. in the quilters room in the educational wing.  All past quilters as well as anyone who would like to help tie and enjoy an afternoon of fellowship is invited to attend.

 

BIBLE STUDY will be held Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m.

 

WORK, FOOD AND DONATION SLIPS for the Fall Winsor Loin Dinner have been put in your bulletin boxes.  If you didn't receive a slip, please contact one of the following committee members:

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON BIBLE STUDY will meet on Wednesday afternoon, september 12th at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Sharon Schultze.

 

MIDWEEK AND CONFIRMATION CLASSES for students in the 5th thru 8th grades will meet Wednesday afternoon at 3:45 p.m.

 

THE LYF will meet this Wednesday evening, September 12th at 7:30 p.m.

 

THE LADIES AID will meet this Thursday, September 13th at 2:00 p.m.

 

THE MEMBERS OF FIRST TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, BLOOMFIELD will celebrate their annual Fall festival next Sunday, September 16th.  They will serve a roast beef dinner which will consist of roast beef, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, a dinner roll, and a salad and dessert bar.  The meal will be served from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  The cost will be $8.00 for Adults, $4.00 for children under the age of 10.  A Country Store will also be provided.

 

ST. MARY'S SCHOOL SWISS STEAK DINNER, featuring a salad bar will be held next sunday, September 16th at the Osmond City Auditorium with serving from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  The cost for adults will be $9.00, children age 3 through sixth grade $4.00. Also featuring drawings for cash prizes.  To order carry-out dinners, call Barb Kaup at 748-3850 by 9 a.m. the day of the dinner.
