WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning. We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

OUR READER for this morning is Paul Koehler and next Sunday our reader will be LYF member, Mason Gansebom. Helping with communion this morning are Elders Larry Krohn and Ed Brummels.

CANDLELIGHTERS for this morning are Zaylah Pfanstiel and Ella von Rentzell. Next Sunday they will be Brianna and Juliana Kumm.

NAME BADGES– we are asking members to wear their name badges, which can be found next to your picture in the old west entry and the east wall in church, to help Pastor get to know our names and faces. PLEASE put your badges back before leaving the church, so they will be here for every worship service you attend. Thank You!

VOTERS MEETING will be held Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Minutes from October meeting in voters’ bulletin boxes.

CHOIR will be practicing again next Sunday, January 23rd, at 8:30 a.m. and singing at the beginning of worship. Everyone, high school age and older, are welcome.

SURVEY: If you haven’t already filled out the short survey about the Christmas Season, please circle your answers and drop in the box by the bulletin boxes TODAY! Extras are on the ledge, in case you misplaced yours. Thank You!

SAVE THE DATE: The Immanuel LYF Soup Dinner will be held on Sunday, February 6th from 11 am – 1 pm. Serving: Chili, Chicken Noodle, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Hot Dogs, Pie and Desserts. The LYF is serving bible class on Sunday mornings. All donations made will go towards the National trip in Houston this summer.

ANNUAL REPORT: Please bring your annual reports to the church office as soon as possible so that the Annual Report can be printed. Copies of last year’s reports were put in certain bulletin boxes to help as a reminder! Thanks in advance!

LYF MEETING with supper at 6:30 this Wednesday, the 19th.

LYF ICE SKATING has been moved to January 22nd, leaving from church at 5:45. Please let Melanie or Jennifer know by the 19th if you are planning to go.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ACH PAYMENTS for your church donations (it is not mandatory), please stop in the office and Deb will have you fill out the needed form.

THERE ARE STILL SOME 2022 OFFERING ENVELOPES are on table behind the back pew. ** PLEASE DISCONTINUE to use previous years envelopes as numbers on your envelopes change yearly.

SUNDAY SCHOOL will be hosting a Lock-In on Feb 25th. If you would like to volunteer to help supervise for any length of time or prepare the meal please contact Kari Miller or Christy Koehler. More details will follow in the coming weeks.

Norfolk Area Lutherans for Life sponsored today’s broadcast of the Lutheran Hour in observance of Sanctity of Human Life Sunday which will be observed next Sunday, January 23rd. The Mission and Purpose of Lutherans for Life is: Equipping Lutherans and their neighbors to be Gospel-motivated voices For Life. Their vision is that Every Lutheran, both individually and in community, upholding the God-given value of human life and influencing society to do the same. March For Life will be next Sunday at 1:00. Poster with more info in front entrance to church.

MAIN STREET LIVING NEWS: This is the Life – “Burden Made Light” – The housekeeper helps a family through the struggle of an increasingly sick child. Worship Service – Rev. Richard Merrill of St. John Lutheran Church in Charter Oak, IA, delivers the message “Jesus-Lord of Celebration” based on John 2:1-11.These shows air today beginning at 10:00 AM on KCAU-9 TV out of Sioux City.

BEST CHOICE LABELS: Preschool is still saving the labels/bar codes. Please save your labels and put them in the box on top of the bulletin boxes or put them in Julie Slagle’s bulletin box. Thank You!
