Announcements for December 12, 2021

immanuelosmond | 10 December, 2021 12:27

WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning, especially family members and friends of Pastor & Sonja Kirchoff, who came for installation yesterday. We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

OUR READER for this morning is Larry Krohn and on Wednesday evening and next Sunday our reader will be Ed Brummels. Helping with communion next week will be Ross Stelling and Paul Koehler.

BEGINNING THIS MORNING, we are asking members to wear their name badges, which can be found next to your picture in the old west entry, to help Pastor get to know our names and faces. PLEASE put your badges back before leaving the church, so they will be here for every worship service you attend. Thank You!

CANDLELIGHTERS for this morning are Kenzie von Rentzell and Brianna Kumm. Wednesday evening they will be Leia Buchanan and Matthew Alderson. Next Sunday they will be Caden Wingert and Keyston Pfanstiel.

MIDWEEK ADVENT WORSHIP will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. and LYF will have their skit during the service and will be hosting the fellowship hour after worship.

THANK YOU to Mindy Evans and her mother, Cheryl Wipperling, for making the beautiful Christmas wreath hanging in the east entry of the church. They also had made the fall wreath that hung in the same place in October and November.

WE ARE CURRENTLY RAISING FUNDS to replace the sign on the NE corner of the church with a digital sign. Donations may be put in the offering plate (clearly marked for the digital sign) or dropped off at the church office. Total collected so far is $19,727.74. Our goal is to collect $27,500 so the sign can be read from both directions.

BOXES OF CHRISTMAS CARDS are set up on a table in the fellowship hall with prices marked on the back of each box. Please put payments in the can sitting on the table. (checks payable to Ladies Aid) Thank You!

THE FINAL LYF SKIT PRACTICE will be this evening at 7:00pm.

LYF MEMBERS are reminded that they will also be serving the fellowship hour on Wednesday, the 15th and each member should bring a dozen bars or cookies.

LYF MEMBERS will be packing goodie bags for Christmas Eve after church next Sunday, December 19th.
