LWML CELEBRATION SUNDAY! Next Sunday, October 4th, has been designated as LWML Sunday at Immanuel. The women of he LWML invite the entire congregation to celebrate together as the Body of Christ under the theme, “Our Hearts in HIS Hand.” This special worship service was authored by Rev. TIRED OF WRITING A CHECK TO CHURCH EVERY WEEK? - We are in the process of setting up automatic payments to the church. We have decided to receive these payments on the 1st and 15th of the month, beginning this month. You can choose one or both of these dates. If you are interested (it is not mandatory) in doing this, please stop in the office and Deb will have you fill out the needed form.

LYF has bags of potatoes in both entrances to the church for a freewill offering!  All donations collected will be used to help the youth from Immanuel attending the National Youth Convention with their trip expenses.  The Convention will be held in Houston, Texas  July 9-13, 2022.

LYF will be hosting a drive through dinner on October 23rd from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. here at Immanuel as a fund raiser for the 2022 National LYF Convention. For more information, watch future bulletins.

WHAT ABOUT BOOKS are available for you near the bulletin boxes. These books are easy to read and explain what Lutherans believe and teach about topics important for today.

THE “CARD PARTY” celebrates its 3rd anniversary during the month of September. During the last year, 606 birthday cards (14 more than last year) were written. Keeping the church office informed of address changes is truly appreciated since over 80% of these cards were sent through the mail! We welcome anyone interested in joining our outreach ministry to join us the third Tuesday of every month at 1:00 for an afternoon of fun fellowship and card writing at the church.
