WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning. We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

OUR READER for this morning is Paul Koehler and next Sunday our reader will be LYF member, Hudson Schultze. Helping with communion this morning are Larry Krohn and Ed Brummels.

CANDLELIGHTERS for this morning are Zaylah Pfanstiel and Erin Wagner. Next Sunday they will be Caden Wingert and Landon Oltjenbruns.

LYF MEETING will be held immediately after church this morning.

VOTER’S MEETING will be held this Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m. Anyone that wants to become a voting member is encouraged to attend this meeting. You must be present to become a voting member.

CALL MEETING: There will be a special call meeting next Sunday, July 25th at 7:00 p.m. to vote on the next Pastor to call to serve Immanuel. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Again, only voting members will be allowed to vote. You may arrive up to one hour early to look over the bios of each candidate if you would like.

VBS FELLOWSHIP TODAY AFTER CHURCH: Coffee and cookies will be served. The congregation is invited to see the craft projects the VBS students have made and a free-will offering will be taken for the VBS mission project "Alaska Mission for Christ". No Bible Classes today!

THANK YOU to everyone who helped mow the cemetery last week.  Your willingness to help is appreciated!

THANK YOU to everyone that helped with our VBS program. We had an outpouring of volunteers who agreed to teach, lead teams, help in the kitchen, donate food, do the crafts, music and games, and help out at the check-in/check-out desk, take pictures, and help in countless other ways. An especially big thank you goes out to Julie Slagle for all of her work with registration, music and the closing program. Thank you also to the parents who sent their children to VBS and to the people of Immanuel for your prayers and support. We appreciate all of you!

NEXT SUNDAY: Pastor Michael Buchhorn, Senior Pastor, Grace Lutheran Church, Wayne, NE, will be the guest preacher and Bible Class teacher. We welcome the Word that Pastor Buchhorn will bring next Sunday. Pastor and Darlene will be vacationing with family in Colorado.

NO MEN’S BIBLE STUDY GROUP or 9:00 Bible Class on Thursday as Pastor is on vacation.

CONGREGATIONAL HELP NEEDED WITH PARSONAGE REPAIRS … deck staining and basement remodeling. Trustees plan to start these projects this week. For more information on helping, contact Randy Pfanstiel at 402-360-0581.

Dr. Michael Zeigler explores both the problem and the promise of deathbed conversions. (Ephesians 2) The Lutheran Hour airs on WJAG both AM 780 and FM 105.9 on Sundays at 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

MAIN STREET LIVING NEWS: This is the Life – “No Laughing Matter” – A woman must learn to deal with her past in order to help someone else in her past. Worship Service – Rev. David Viggers of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Odebolt, Iowa, delivers the message “You Give Them Something to Eat” based on Matthew 6:30-44. CARD SHOWER - Former members Ralph and Linda Mickley will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on August 8th. Their children are hosting a card shower to honor the blessed event. The family has requested no gifts, but they would love for you to send a card with a special note or memory to Ralph and Linda. Their new address is: Ralph and Linda Mickley, 509 Smiley Avenue, Ames, Iowa 50014 The couple can also be reached at mickley1@comcast.net.

THE SALVATION ARMY is holding their Stuff the Bus helping children entering grades Pre-K through 12th with new backpacks and basic school supplies. All donations are helpful. Also, if anyone is in need of assistance, they can apply by calling the Salvation Army at 402-379-4663 Walk-in registrations will be on Tuesday, July 20th from 9-11 AM and 1-3 PM.

MADISON CHILDHOOD COALITION is also looking for donations for baby items. If you have any baby items laying around you would like to donate, they will take them. Needs are: 5 Point transitional car seat, convertible car seat, 2 bassinets, baby jumper, swing, booster high chair, umbrella stroller, baby gates and a high chair.
