WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning. We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

OUR READER for this morning is Ross Stelling and next Sunday our reader will be Paul Koehler. Helping with communion next week will be Larry Krohn and Ed Brummels.

CANDLELIGHTERS for this morning are Kenzie and Tucker von Rentzell. Next Sunday they will be Caden Wingert and Kaden Polt.

MOTHER’S DAY is observed throughout the United States. In the beginning, God established marriage and families. We thank God for Christian mothers, grandmothers and women who take seriously the special task of raising families. “Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her” (Proverbs 31:28). May God bless specifically Christian women seeking to follow His will.

BIBLE CLASS continues the series, “Dangerous Teachings of the Bible.” Today’s study focuses on the resurrection of Jesus. Can dead people live? The central teaching of the Bible is that dead people can live. Since the topics of each Sunday are “stand alone” questions, you can join class anytime. But don’t miss today’s class, it is a question of life and death.

PASSING THE OFFERING PLATE is more than a ritual! The passing of the place gives opportunity to physically place our first-fruit gifts into the service of His Kingdom. In addition to singing, praising, and prayers, our offerings are acts of worship. The bringing of the gifts to altar, acknowledge that we take from our bounty and return to the Lord, literally putting them on the altar that they might be used wisely. We thank and praise God that we are blessed to take another step toward the normal life of the church.

MEMORIAL BANNER We would like to thank the family of Lois Gerdes, who gave the Mother’s Day banner that is up this morning!

THE VOTERS extended a Divine Call on April 25th to Pastor Caleb Kruse, Associate Pastor at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Elkhorn, NE to be pastor here at Immanuel. Please hold Pastor Kruse in your prayers as he considers this call. Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide him in discernment as to where he might better use his gifts in the Church. A decision should be reached by May 23rd.

A DIGITAL SIGN is being considered to replace the sign on the NE corner of the church. A poster has been made and is in the back of church. Donations from memorials and/or members is how the sign will be paid for. The committee is considering this a mission project. Any questions may be addressed to the committee: LaDonna Stanosheck, Randy Pfanstiel and Deb Gutz.
