WE WELCOME EDEN, THE COMFORT DOG today from Peace Lutheran Church, Columbus. Eden will be here for church service, Bible study and Sunday School. Eden is a Sunday school project and will share how Lutheran Church Charities uses comfort dogs to share the Mercy, Compassion, Presence and Proclamation of Jesus Christ, wherever there are hurting people. There will be an offering collected to help support this wonderful project. This is an offering plate in the back of church by the regular offerings for this project. Checks can be made payable to: Peace Lutheran Comfort Dog Ministry

TODAY ADULT BIBLE CLASS will continue the series, “Dangerous Teachings of Christianity.” Since the topics, each week are “stand alone,” you can join the class any time and pick up the discussion. Today’s class continues the subject of sanctity of life. At present, the United States is fostering a culture of death. Human life has little value in our present culture. We pretend to value life, but the nature of our culture denies life’s value. Of all the creatures in the world, only God breathed the “breath of life” into man. Join today’s class for an examination of perhaps the most vital issue facing our nation.

A CALL MEETING will be held tonight at 7:00 PM. The congregation is invited and encouraged to attend. Voters only will be allowed to vote on which candidate to call.
