THE LUTHERAN HOUR: Each week the nation’s longest-running Christian radio broadcast speaks to more than a million people about the matchless love of God as revealed in His Son Jesus Christ. Today, Rev. Dr. Michael Zeigler is the speaker. The Lutheran Hour airs on WJAG both AM 780 and FM 105.9 on Sundays at 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

MAIN STREET LIVING/THIS IS THE LIFE: The entire one-hour broadcast will feature a tour of the Holy Land. It will displace the “This Is the Life” program as well as the worship service. This tour features many places where Jesus walked and talked. “The Holy Land-The Eternal Rock Tour” features your Lutheran brothers and sisters as they discover many of these sacred sites. The tour is guided by Rev. Nabil Nour of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hartford, South Dakota, who was raised in Galilee.

SERMON SERIES FOR HOLY WEEK: The 40-day journey of Lent began on Ash Wednesday.. The Lenten services will use a weekly recitation of the Six Chief Parts of Luther’s Small Catechism. By reviewing the parts of the catechism, we can re-affirm the faith that we confess and live. The sermons will focus on the atoning blood of Jesus. These sermons will challenge us to cling to the Sacrament of the Altar where the body and blood of Christ are given for us. The sermon themes to come yet are as follows: April 1 @ 7:00 PM: Maundy Thursday with Communion “The Blood of the Covenant” Exodus 24:3–11 April 2 @ 7:00 PM: Good Friday “A Rich Burial” Isaiah 53:9 April 4 @ 6:30 AM: Easter Sunrise with LYF message (followed by LYF Breakfast) April 4 @ 9:30 AM: Easter Service with Communion “With Him through Death” Daniel 3:1–29; 1 Peter 3:17–22; Matthew 27:57–66
