THE LUTHERAN HOUR has now been on the air for 90 years. With its first broadcast on October 3rd, 1930, it is the longest-running Christian broadcast in the world. The Lutheran Hour has touched lives and nurtured God’s children with an unchanging message of hope and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. We give all praise and glory to God for this life-changing ministry.

EQUIPMENT ITEMS NO LONGER NEEDED BY THE CHURCH are located in the devotional room by the west entryway. Please take what you are interested in for a freewill donation. Thank you!

LETTER FROM KAREN SCHREIBER was received this past week. She has asked the office to share with you. A copy is in each bulletin box and her letter is on the bulletin board in the east entrance. If you would like to write to Karen, her address is: 413 Saint Paul St. NW, Preston, MN 55965

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Looking for 2-3 volunteers who would be willing to take care of flowers for Christmas, Easter, funerals or any other events during the year here at Immanuel. If interested, please contact Mike Johnson or the church office. Thank you!

ADULT BIBLE CLASS spent the last 2 Sundays learning about God giving the two tables of commandments to Israel. Biblically, the Ten Commandments are called the Ten Words. Today, class will cover a variety of topics, namely, numerous laws concerning slavery, property, restitution and social justice. In addition, class will learn about God’s direction for building the Ark of the Covenant and the tabernacle. Hopefully, class will be set to cover the false worship of the “Golden Calf” next Sunday. Why not join Adult Bible class for informative, lively, interesting and even sometimes funny discussion of the book of Exodus.

THE ANNUAL REPORT is complete and in your bulletin boxes! Thank you, everyone, for bringing your reports to the church office in such a nice timely manner! It is greatly appreciated!
