OUR READER for this morning is LYF member, Zachary Huwaldt. Mike Johnson or Doug Hartner will be our reader for New Year’s Eve and next Sunday the reader will be Paul Koehler. Helping with Communion on New Year’s Eve will be Doug Hartner and Paul Koehler and helping with communion next Sunday will be Larry Krohn and Ed Brummels.

OUR CANDLELIGHTERS for this morning are Matthew Alderson and Leia Buchanan. Candlelighters for the New Year’s Eve service will be Spencer Hille and Cali Gutz. Next Sunday the candlelighters will be Juliana Kumm and Reese Johns.

PASTOR LILIENKAMP is available in Osmond on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and Wednesday evenings. Confirmation class is taught from 4-5:30 PM. NEW BIBLE STUDY OPPORTUNITY: Beginning Thursday, January 14 at 6:30 AM, Pastor Lilienkamp will moderate a men’s study time. The study will use a synodical study to help small town/rural congregations grow in faithfulness to the Word of God. The study will address some of the issues that President Snow raised at the pre-call meeting of Dec. 1. Men, young and old, are encouraged and invited to the study time. In addition to study, sharing, and prayer, coffee/juice, rolls/toast will be served. The plan is for the study group to meet 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month. Adjournment will be promptly at 7:30 AM.

THE FUNERAL FOR LOIS GERDES will be held on Monday, December 28th at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be here this afternoon (Sunday) from 4-7 PM.

ADULT BIBLE CLASS continues a chapter-by-chapter study of the book of Exodus. After several chapters of action-packed events, the 10 plagues, Passover, and crossing of the Red Sea, Israel takes a “break” for worship before going on to Mount Sinai. Join class today to learn some theological principles for Christian worship today.
