Mark your calendar to join the family of faith at Immanuel to “Give thanks to the Lord.” The service will be a service of singing, prayers, the Word and a message.

NEXT SUNDAY, November 29, Advent 1, will be the beginning of the new church year. As a liturgical church, a lectionary system of scripture readings is used for Sunday worship. The 3-year system provides a variety of readings from all the books of the Bible. The readings this year are from the B series. Advent is a time of preparation for the celebration of Jesus’ birth. The new church year is a good opportunity to, not only prepare for Christmas, but also foster a faithful pattern of worship.

MID-WEEK ADVENT SERVICES will begin Wednesday, December 2nd at 7:00 PM. The services will continue the following Wednesdays - December 9th and 16th at 7:00 PM.
