WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning, especially our guests. We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

THE CANDLELIGHTERS for this morning are Cali Gutz and Reese Johns. Next Sunday they will be Karter Johnson and Hudson Schultze.

JOIN US AT ADULT BIBLE CLASS as we do a study that examines our worship, liturgy and provides insight on why we worship the way we do as LC-MS Lutherans.

LWML will be meeting this Wednesday, February 19th, at 7:30 p.m. Please note that this is one week earlier than normal due to Ash Wednesday.

CHOIR will be held next Sunday, February 23rd at 8:30 a.m.

ASH WEDNESDAY PRAYER SERVICE will be held here at Immanuel on Wednesday, February 26th. Coffee and rolls will be served from 9-10 A.M. and the service begins at 10:00 A.M. The theme “ALL EYES ON THE CROSS”, based on The Seven Last Words of Christ from the Cross, will be presented by the Lutheran’s Women’s Missionary League. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.

THIS LENT, we will use the metaphor of eyesight to examine how the various people in Mark’s Gospel viewed Jesus during His Passion. In most cases, they misunderstood who He was and what He was doing; then again, sometimes by faith people did recognize Him correctly. We have these forty days of Lent in which we may look within ourselves as people of faith in our day. How are we like or unlike the people who saw Jesus in the flesh? Most important, as we gather for worship, we will see what Jesus has done to save us from our sins by His holy, precious blood and innocent sufferings and death.

THE FAMILY OF ARLEAN PFANSTIEL is honoring her on her 90th birthday with an open house today from 2-4 p.m. here at the church fellowship hall. Everyone is welcome. Birthday cards can reach her at 208 N. Main St., Apt. 2, Osmond, NE 68765
