OUR READER for this morning is Doug Hartner. Our reader for Wednesday's Advent worship will be Ed Brummels and next Sunday our reader will be Mike Johnson. Helping with communion next Sunday will be Aaron von Rentzell and Dwight Kahny.

WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning, especially our guests. We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

OUR CANDLELIGHTERS for Wednesday Advent service will be Joshua Gansebom and Cali Gutz and next Sunday they will be Madeline Huwaldt and Reese Johns.

THANK YOU: The Ladies Aid and LWML would like to thank everyone who attended the Bazaar and Bake Sale and thank you to the ladies who donated food, bake sale items, crafts or any other items. Also, thank you to all those who donated their time to work at the Bazaar!

THANK YOU!! On behalf of the church, we would like to thank Don and Joan Streich for the beautiful nativity set given to Immanuel in loving memory of their son, David.

CAMP LUTHER PRESENTATION will take place immediately after our service in the fellowship hall by Mr. Bruce Wall, director. Adults and children of all ages are encouraged to join us to learn more about this exciting outdoor camp ministry located near Schuyler and Columbus.

FOOD DRIVE – Immanuel Lutheran Church will be collecting food items for the local food pantry through today, December 8th.

ADVENT DEVOTIONS are in a box on the bulletin ledge. Everyone is welcome to take one! Take one for a friend and/or neighbor! More can be printed if they are gone!

OUR MIDWEEK ADVENT SERVICE will begin with a hymn sing beginning about 6:45 p.m. Come early and enjoy singing your favorite Advent/Christmas Hymns. Fellowship after the service will be hosted by the LWML. The offering will go to the Beckendorf ministry through Lutheran Bible Translators.

SUNDAY SCHOOOL CHRISTMAS EVE PROGRAM PRACTICES will be on Saturdays, December 7, 14 and 21 for Pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. They will run from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Please have your child there if they will be participating. Thank you!

INTERESTED IN ATTENDING A JANUARY EVENING BIBLE STUDY ON THE APOCRYPHA? If interested, the cost of $50.00 would include your own copy of the Apocrypha (Books written during the 400 years between the Old Testament and the New Testament). Contact Pastor Emery if interested.

ANNUAL COOKIE SALE: On Friday, December 13, the United Methodist Women will be hosting their Annual Christmas Cookie Sale, Tea Room and Christmas Rummage Room from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Osmond Methodist Church fellowship hall.

LUTHERAN HOUR TELEVISION Today on KCAU-TV, Sioux City @ 10:00 a.m.- The Lutheran Hour Animated series – The Stableboy's Christmas-A family experiences the excitement of the holidays, while trying to keep the true meaning of Christmas at the center of their preparations; @ 10:30 a.m. – Worship service led by Rev. Luke Edwards of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rapid City, SD. bases his message, "We Are All Sinners" on Matthew 25:31-46. The program is interpreted and closed captioned for the hearing impaired.
