COLLEGE STUDENTS REMEMBERED DURING SEMESTER FINALS – Gift cards will be sent the end of November/first part of December. Donations are being accepted in a basket after church as you leave for the next few weeks or they can be dropped off with Deb in the church office.

COLLEGE ADDRESSES STILL NEEDED!! Please stop in, call or e-mail the church office with the addresses and cell phone numbers if possible We would also love to have the college they are attending and what their major is.

BENEFIT TO SUPPORT AMBER (Wattier) BROWN is being held today from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Amber, along with her family have been fighting Multiple Sclerosis for almost 13 years. With this disease, her best chance is to receive an adult stem cell transplant, which is not approved for MS in the U.S. This treatment will take her to Puebla, Mexico, for approximately 23 days. There will be a Free Will Offering meal, of pulled pork, hot dogs, cheesy potatoes and bars, an Auction, Silent Auction and Bake sale.

GOLGOTHA LUTHERAN CHURCH of rural Wausa is having their annual Harvest Dinner today from 11:00 – 1:00. On the menu: Swiss steak, potatoes and gravy, corn, salad bar, and dessert bar. The cost for the meal will be $10 for adults; $6 for K-6th grade; and free for preschool.

LLL FALL RALLY: All are welcome to attend the Fall LLL Rally at First Trinity Lutheran Church, Bloomfield NE today at 2:00 pm. Pastor Levi Willms from St. John's, Yankton SD will be presenting on Inter-generational Discipleship. An Oktoberfest meal will follow the meeting, which will include brats, potatoes, green beans, and beer. A free will offering will be collected for the meal. REV. TIM BECKENDORF, LISA, AARON AND ANDREW will be in Osmond for part of November. Confirmation is planned for Aaron and Andrew on November 10th. There will be a cake reception after the worship service to welcome them into our church family and a time of fellowship.

PIANO/VIOLIN CONCERT Kevin and Heidi Cheng will be holding a concert here at Immanuel on Sunday, November 17th at 7:00 p.m. featuring bluegrass gospel, sacred, popular, and world-class classical music. A freewill offering will be taken.

ORPHAN GRAIN TRAIN is a recognized service organization of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in cooperation with Lutheran Hour Ministries, LCMS World Mission, and LCMS World Christian ministries. It is a hands-on, Christian, humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization built on a network of volunteers. Its nearly 20 regional branches collect, pack and ship donated clothing, relief supplies and humanitarian aid in American and around the world. Come support Orphan Grain Train and other mission projects by attending the Big Mission Event scheduled for Sunday, November 17, at Divots Conference Center in Norfolk. The Big Mission Event, sponsored by Servants of the Savior of Christ Lutheran Church, Norfolk, begins with a 5:00 p.m. social hour, followed by a tenderloin medallion dinner served at 6:00 p.m. Gary Thies, Mission Development Counselor for LCMS will be the Master of Ceremonies, with Rev. Vance and Linda Becker, LCMS missionaries in Kenya, Africa as the featured presenters for the evening. The Event also features a live auction. Tickets are available for a cost of $50.00 per person from Christ Lutheran Church, 605 S Fifth Street, Norfolk (371-1210). No tickets will be sold at the door.
