WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning, especially our guests. We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

OUR READER for this morning is Doug Hartner. Next Sunday our reader will be Mike Johnson. Helping with communion next Sunday will be Aaron von Rentzell and Dwight Kahny.

OUR CANDLELIGHTERS for next Sunday will be Zachary Alderson and Leia Buchanan.

COLLEGE STUDENTS or Parents of College Students, please stop in, call or e-mail the church office with your addresses and cell phone numbers if possible. We would also love to have the college they are attending and what their major is.

THE LWML would like to thank everyone who gave to our special offering for "Mites for Missions". We were able to give $202.10 to help our mission projects. There are extra mite boxes available on the LWML display table if anyone would like one.

MEMBERS OF ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH AND SCHOOL, rural Columbus, invite you to their Oktoberfest German Dinner next Sunday, October 20th. Serving times are 11:00 am until 1:30 pm. Tickets are $12.00 for adults, $5.00 for children 5-10 years of age, and ages 4 and under eat free. Tickets available at the door. Take-out orders are also available. We are located 12 miles north of Columbus Community Hospital on 48th Avenue or 6 ½ miles south of Creston at the corner of Hwy 91 and 205th Avenue. Our Worship Service begins at 9:30 am that morning. BENEFIT TO SUPPORT AMBER (Wattier) BROWN will be held on November 3rd from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Amber, along with her family have been fighting Multiple Sclerosis for almost 13 years. With this disease, her best chance is to receive an adult stem cell transplant, which is not approved for MS in the U.S. This treatment will take her to Puebla, Mexico, for approximately 23 days. There will be a Free Will Offering meal, of pulled pork, hot dogs, cheesy potatoes and bars, an Auction, Silent Auction and Bake sale. FUNERAL SERVICES FOR JOAN SCHULTZE will be here at Immanuel on Tuesday, October 15th at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will also be here at the church on Monday, the 14th from 4-7 p.m.
