WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning, especially our guests. We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

WELCOME PASTOR JAMES CARRETTO this morning as our guest pastor while Pastor Emery and Vickie are on vacation.

Our Candlelighters for next Sunday they will be Grayson Schultze and Connor von Rentzell .

Our Reader for this morning will be Zach Alderson. Next Sunday our reader will be Doug Hartner. Helping with Communion next Sunday will Dwight Kahny and Aaron von Rentzell.

THANK YOU to everyone who came this past week to mow the cemetery. Your commitment to help with the mowing, and trimming is very much appreciated.

LYF MEMBERS who attended the National Youth Gathering in Minneapolis earlier this month will give a presentation after worship this morning. They have also put together a Powerpoint Slide show for you to enjoy before and after church.

THE TRUSTEES are looking for suggestions for replacing the carpet in the front (east) entry and for behind the pews in the church proper. If you have suggestions or thoughts, please contact a trustee or leave your suggestion/thought in the church secretary's office.

2019 ORPHAN GRAIN TRAIN CONVENTION will be held Friday and Saturday, September 13 & 14 at DeVent Center in Norfolk. There is a discount if you register before August 1st. If interested you may go on their website or contact the church office. You will meet the people that receive and distribute the humanitarian aid and food for Orphan Grain Train. On Friday, you will learn more about relief efforts and aid that impacts those in need locally and internationally. An update from VP of Operations, Grant Schmidt, and hear recipients share how Orphan Grain Train changes lives in their part of the world, domestically and internationally. Dinner will be served Friday evening with the Concordia University Nebraska Show Choir performance at 7:30 p.m. Saturday will begin with morning devotion and include luncheon with keynote speaker Rev. Michael Zeigler, Lutheran Hour Speaker. There will be more sharing about the impact of Orphan Grain Train and a live and silent quilt auction. The closing devotion will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

THE LUTHERAN HOUR is broadcast every Sunday on Wayne radio station, KCTY 98.9 FM/KTCH 1590 AM on Sunday mornings from at 7:30 a.m. as well as on Norfolk radio station, WJAG 780 AM/105.9 FM at 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Sundays also.
