WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning, especially our guests.

THE CANDLE LIGHTERS for next week will be Logan Stelling and Keaton Timmerman.

OUR READER for this morning's worship service is Connor von Rentzell and next Sunday our reader will be Aaron von Rentzell. Assisting with Holy Communion next week will be Mike Johnson and Doug Hartner.

REMINDER: BACCALAUREATE will be held here at Immanuel during our 9:30 worship service for our graduating seniors next Sunday, May 5th.

ADOPT-A-COLLEGE STUDENT! It's time again to adopt-a-college student as they prepare for their end of the year finals. The college students could use some extra love and support, especially as they approach the end of the year and final exams. We need to send a care package to the student ASAP (some have their finals this week!) to help them prepare for finals week. Donna Kahny will have a list of college student names and addresses available before and after church today. If interested, please see her in the back of church and she will give you the student's name and mailing information.

THE IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CEMETERY will be mowed on Monday, April 29th at 6:30 p.m. The following members of Immanuel are asked to please come and help mow:

Tim Schultze Ross Stelling Mike Timmerman

Beau Simpson Alton Streich Roger Timmerman

Mike Slagle Dean Stueckrath Aaron von Rentzell

Jon Stanosheck Dan Timmerman Jason von Rentzell

PLEASE NOTE!! If you cannot come Monday evening, you may come in the afternoon or evening on Sunday or the afternoon on Monday, but please contact your chairman, Marvin Kumm, at 402-748-3228 so that he knows who helped and your name is not put back on the list for the next mowing. Women and older children are also welcome to help mow. We need riders, push mowers, and trimmers in order to do a good job.

PRESCHOOL: Please save "Best Choice" labels from the grocery store. Cut out the bar code/UPC symbol and put inside the box on top of the bulletin boxes or put them in Mrs. Slagle's bulletin box. Thank you for your help!

EASTER LILLIES. Please take a lily home, to a shut-in, hospital or nursing home after today's service. Donations may be placed in the offering plate and designated "Lillies".

GRANT APPLICATIONS through the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod for Recovery/Restoration Projects due to the flooding last month are available in the church office.

DID YOU KNOW that our two ladies organizations, the Ladies Aid and the LWML, both support the future needs of our church by giving a monthly donation to students preparing to be pastors?

The Ladies Aid supports Mr. Josh Vogel, a former Michigan dairy farmer. Josh is in his fourth year and hopes to receive a call into the ministry this spring.

The LWML supports Mr. Andrew Johnson, a second year seminarian. Andrew is the son-in-law of Russ and Karla Koehler, members of Golgotha.

Both Josh and Andrew are students at Concordia Seminary St. Louis.

Assignment for vicarages and pastoral calls has been set for this Wednesday, May 1st, and can be streamed online at

Office of Vespers with Assignment of Vicarage calls begins at 3:00 p.m. and the Service of Praise with Assignment of Calls begins at 7:00 p.m.
