WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning, especially our guests. We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

IF YOU PLAN TO RECEIVE HOLY COMMUNION DURING THIS MORNING'S WORSHIP SERVICE, please register with the elders in the secretary's office before the worship service begins.

THE CANDLE LIGHTERS for next Sunday they will be Kennedy Johnson and Riley Wagner.

OUR READER for this morning's worship service is Dwight Kahny. Helping with Communion this morning are Ed Brummels and Doug Hartner.

Calendar Corrections/Changes: Ladies Aid meets this Thursday, January 10th at 1:30 p.m. There will be no Wednesday afternoon Bible Study this Wednesday, January 9th, and Bible Study on Wednesday, January 23rd will be held at Leoma Fuelberth's home.

District President, Rev. Richard Snow, will be coming for an official visit next Sunday, January 13th. He will bring a greeting to everyone attending church and then at 10:30, he would like to spend about 50 minutes visiting with the lay leaders and any other interested members to get some feedback with some of the questions on the congregation survey (forms are laying on the ledge of the bulletin boxes – please fill out and bring back next Sunday) and share some of the district vision and mission.

THE MEMBERS OF GOLGOTHA LUTHERAN CHURCH, rural Wausa, invite you to the installation of their new pastor, Rev. Jerome Leckband. He will be installed next Sunday, January 13th. The Divine Service will begin at 3:00 pm when God's people will gather to hear the promises of God that He attaches to the Office of the Holy Ministry. This will also mark the beginning of a dual-parish arrangement between Trinity Lutheran Church, Foster and Golgotha Lutheran Church. We pray for God's blessing upon this new association.

ARK ENCOUNTER & CREATION MUSEUM COMING SOON! We leave Osmond on June 1st and return late on June 7th. We will spend one day at the Ark Encounter and one day at the Creation Museum. Both are in Kentucky. Then we travel to St. Louis and tour the Seminary, Concordia Historical Institute, LCMS Headquarters and optional activities such as a St. Louis Cardinals game, the zoo, the Arch and the botanical gardens.

The LWML Christmas will be held during the January meeting on Wednesday, January 23rd. More information to follow.
