WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning, especially our guests. We hope you can worship with us again soon.


OUR CANDLE LIGHTERS for this morning's worship service are Joshua Gansebom and Blake Bahr. Next Sunday, they will be Madeline Huwaldt and Diandra Polt.


OUR READER for this morning's worship service is Aaron von Rentzell. Next Sunday's reader will be Dwight Kahny and helping prepare and distribute Holy Communion will be Ed Brummels and Doug Hartner.


THE TWO NEW BANNERS HANGING ABOVE THE ALTAR have been given in memory of James L. Broekemer, Jr., by his family.


SUNDAY SCHOOL: 1st Quarter Sunday School will be starting next Sunday, September 16th. The sign-up sheet for teachers is located at the back of the church. Please prayerfully consider volunteering for this opportunity! Thank you!


THERE WILL NOT BE ANY SUNDAY SCHOOL THIS MORNING. Sundae Sunday will be held instead. The congregation is welcome to stay after church and have some ice cream in the fellowship hall. The 1st quarter of Sunday School will begin next Sunday, September 16th, following the morning worship service.


QUILT TYING begins tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 p.m. All ladies of the congregation are invited to come for an afternoon of fellowship and quilt tying.


WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON BIBLE STUDY will be held this Wednesday afternoon, September 12th, at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Sharon Schultze.


MIDWEEK AND CONFIRMATION CLASSES for students in grades 5-8 will be held on Wednesday afternoon from 3:45 – 5:30 p.m.


IMMANUEL'S SECRETARY IS RETIRING ON OCTOBER 31ST. If you would be interested in applying for the position, a Job Description and application form is available in the secretary's office. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.



What? "The Strong-Willed Child" Bible Study

When? "During the Sunday School hour after church-Starting September 16th

for 5 weeks

Why? Our goal is to help strengthen families with this time-honored book by

Dr. James Dobson. The Bible study invites couples, single parents or

even grandparents; we will discuss the book in detail while providing

practical advice and encouragement.

How do we join? Sign up in the church office and pick up your book.

THE CPH 2018 BIBLE SALE is now underway and will be going on until the end of September. Please check out the poster on the easel in the rear of the church. All orders must be placed by Sunday, September 23rd, in order to get them forwarded to CPH by September 30th and receive the dale price. These Bibles make great Confirmation Gifts as well as Christmas.


PASTOR EMERY WANTS TO VISIT YOU! If you would like to volunteer for a time for Pastor to stop at your home for a brief visit, please contact him by text or phone. He would like to visit every member. Mornings, afternoons or evenings are available. Please let him know when he can stop and see you!


THE OSMOND UNITED METHODIST WOMEN'S GUEST DAY will be held this Wednesday, September 12th at 6:30 p.m. with a Salad Bar followed by "A Century of Fashion" by Sue McLain of Humanities Nebraska. Come join us for an evening of fun and fellowship.


AN LCEF PRESENTATION will be done by Nate Meier, LCEF vice president for the Nebraska District, on Wednesday evening, Sept. 19 at 7:00 pm. He will show us population information and trends for the Osmond area that can be used to help us focus our ministry efforts to bring the Gospel to as many people as possible. EVERYONE is invited to join us – please do!
