WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning, especially our guests. We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

OUR READER for this morning's worship service is Ed Brummels. Preparing and helping distribute Holy Communion today are Aaron von Rentzell and Dwight Kahny. The reader next Sunday will be Joshua Gansebom.

CANDLE LIGHTERS this morning are Makenzie Johnson and Molly Beacom-Timmerman. Next Sunday morning they will be Zachary Alderson and Mason Gansebom.

HOLY COMMUNION REMINDER: If you plan to receive Holy Communion today, please register with the elders in the secretary's office before the worship service begins.

THANK YOU to everyone involved with the purchase and installation of the new video projector. The picture is so much clearer, bigger, and the text is so much easier to read. It is a great asset to our church.

THE ANNUAL HOMEMADE ICE CREAM AND PIE SOCIAL at Trinity Lutheran Church in Foster will be held today from 4 – 8 p.m. A freewill donation will benefit mission projects. Everyone is invited.

SUNDAY SCHOOL: 1st Quarter Sunday School will be starting in September. The sign-up sheet for teachers is located at the back of the church. Please prayerfully consider volunteering for this opportunity! Thank you!

SUNDAY SCHOOL: There will not be Sunday School Labor Day Weekend, September 2nd. September 9th will be Sundae Sunday. The congregation is welcome to stay after church and have some ice cream in the fellowship hall. September16 will be the first Sunday of the new quarter of Sunday School.

THE MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH DINNER COMMITTEE have begun work in earnest on the dinner which will be held Sunday, October 14. This dinner is an opportunity for the members of the congregation to work together on a project for the church. We need the help of everyone to make this a success, so we ask that you willingly do your part. If you have a previous commitment that day, please let us know immediately as we are making up the work schedule. If you need a change in assignment for work or foods, let us know that, too, so that we can get those assignments made.

WE LOVE GOD WHEN WE LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR: You are invited to help us welcome the teachers and staff back to school this week. Please volunteer as you are able to wish our teachers and staff a blessed school year. You can help out by: baking muffins, cupcakes or cookies (we need 8 dozen), donating money toward the cost of the devotion booklets and drinks ($130 needed,) and/or delivering the goodies to school on Thursday morning (early!) Please let Pastor know ASAP if you would like to help!
