SUNDAY SCHOOL AND BIBLE CLASSES will be held this morning following the morning worship service.

 

TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m.

 

THE TRUTH PROJECT will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m.

 

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON BIBLE STUDY will be held this Wednesday, May 13th at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Sharon Schultze.

 

THE LADIES AID will meet this Thursday, May 14th at 2:00 p.m.

 

A WORK DAY WILL BE HELD NEXT SATURDAY, MAY 16TH TO BUILD A WHEEL CHAIR RAMP FOR KEVAN SCHUETTLER.  We will begin at 8:00 a.m. and we need all the volunteers we can get.  Adults and youth are both welcome.  We also need volunteers to prepare lunch for the workers.  If you have questions about the project, contact Michael Koehler at 750-5040.

 

A DOOR OFFERING will be taken next Sunday morning, May 17th, to help pay for expenses for the ramp being built for Kevan Schuettler.

 

THANK YOU to everyone who came to help mow the church cemetery, your willingness to help is very much appreciated.

 

REMINDER!!!  Worship services will begin at 8:00 a.m. with Sunday school and Bible Classes following for the next two weeks, Sunday, May 17th and May 24th.  Rev. Jacob Bobby of First Trinity, Bloomfield will be conducting our worship services for these two weeks, while Pastor Emery and Vickie are on vacation.  If you need assistance while Pastor is away, please contact one of the elders and ir you need to contact a Pastor, please contact Pastor Bobby at 605-760-5838.

 

VBS IS SCHEDULED to be held this year June 15th thru June 19th.  Plans are to have VBS in the forenoons this year with the closing program and picnic on Friday evening.  Coordinating this year's VBVS is Chelsea Wiese assisted by Janet Pfanstiel.  If you feel that you can help out in anyway, please contact Janet or Chelsea.

 

LUTHER CARE SERVICES, a non-profit company that manages the Luther Park Campus, has provided quality services for mature Iowans, meeting their physical, spiritual, social and psychilogical needs at a beautiful campus.  The LWML will be collecting items for the LWML Convention in June in Des Moines.  This will help them provide some resources for their residents:

Crayola regular markers,     Tempura Paint,     School Paint Brushes,     Crayons,     Colored Pencils,     Glue or Glue Sticks,     Pony Beads,     Pony Bead Laces

There will be a box in the front entry of the church if you would like to bring something for our in-gathering.

 

THE SUMMER QUARTER IS HERE FOR OUR SUNDAY SCHOOL.  We are in need of three teachers each Sunday throughout the summer.  There is a sign-up sheet at the back of the church.  You are able to pick any Sunday, or two, that would work best for you.  Anyone can teach...the kids need all of us.  Please take time to pray and see if this is the right choice for you.  Come be a part of our Sunday school!  If you have any questions, talk to Kristie or Curtis.  Thank You!!

 

THE Q125 COMMITTEE is now accepting items of interest pertaining to Osmond's History.  Items will be carefully and tastefully displayed at the Q125 Headquarters located in the building located South of Cornerstone Management during the week-end cedletration.  Please have i9tems marked with your name and address for identification.  Also include names, brief description/history of items.

*Items will be inventoried upon dilivery and must have your name and address attached at that time.  Items will be available for pick-up the week following the celebration.

*Although great care and liligence will be used and while items are in possession of the !125 Committee, the Committee and others will not be held responsible for loss or damage of items.

 

TRIP TO MISSION CENTRAL IN MAY!!  First Trinity will be chartering a bus to Mission Central on May 30, 2015.  Mission Central is an agency that supports LCMS missionaries abroad.  If you have had the opportunity to visit Mission kCentral before, you know what a wonderful experience it is to learn about the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ across the globe.  If you have not visited before, prepare to have your life changed.  We will be getting a tour of the facility as well as a chance to hear from a missionary family concerning their work in Taiwan and the Philippines.  The bus will leave at 8:00 a.m. and return about 5:00 p.m.  The cost for each person is $25.00.  Children are free if accompanied by an adult.  Lunch will be provided.  Please consider taking advantage of this blessed opportunity to get connected to the work of the church across the world.  If you have any questions or to make sure you have a spot, please call First Trinity Church office:  (402) 373-4797 or Pastor Bobby:  (605) 760-5838.

 

CEMETERY MOWING WILL B HELD ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 13TH AT 6:30 P.M.  The following members are asked to please come and help mow:

Ross Stelling, Dean Stueckrath, Dan Timmerman, Mike Timmerman, Ray Timmerman, Aaron von Rentzell, Collin Wales, Chris Wagner, Ed Wattier, Dan Wieneke, Jared Winger, Curtis Alderson

  If you cannot come at that time, you may come anytime on Tuesday or during the day on Wednesday, but please contact your chairman, Mike Stanosheck.  If you cannot come at all, please get someone to come in your place.  Women and older children are welcome to come, also.  We need riders, push mowers, and trimmer.  Reminder:  Please contact your chairman, if you plan to come during the day on Tuesday or Wednesday, or if you cannot come at all, so that he knows who has helped mow so that your name is not put on again the next time.  Thank you.
