WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning, especially our guests. We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.


THE CANDLE LIGHTERS for this morning's worship service are Brock Johnson and Tucker Timmerman. Next Sunday they will be Hailey Johnson and Curtis Kralicek.


WE REMEMBER IN OUR PRAYERS TODAY: David Buchholz, Meril Friedrich, Bernice Kumm, Carol Kumm, Elaine Peterson, Todd Prince, Beulah Rokahr, Ronda Wiese, Myron Kiichler, Gerardo Herrera, and Benjamin Sauser. If you have prayer requests for family or friends, please notify Pastor Emery or the church secretary to have them added or removed.


FLOWERS HAVE BEEN PLACED ON THE PIANO by the family of Deloris Wiese in observance of her 90th birthday, which was on Friday, May 1st.


REMINDER: If you plan to receive Holy Communion today, please register with the elders in the secretary's office before the worship service begins.


COFFEE AND COOKIES WILL BE PROVIDED in the fellowship hall following this morning's worship service by the family of Deloris Wiese in observance of her 90th birthday.

QUILT TYING will not be held until after Labor Day.


BIBLE STUDY will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday of this week.


THE TRUTH PROJECT will be held on Tuesday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m.


PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF WORSHIP SERVICE TIME CHANGE!!! While Pastor Emery and Vickie are on Vacation, worship services will begin at 8:00 a.m. with Sunday school and Bible Classes following on May 17th and May 24th, so that Rev. Jacob Bobby of First Trinity, Bloomfield can make it back to Bloomfield in time to conduct his worship services there.


IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WHILE PASTOR EMERY IS AWAY, please contact one of the elders. If you need to contact a Pastor, please contact Rev. Jacob Bobby of First Trinity, Bloomfield at 1-605-760-5838, as he is covering for Pastor while he is away.


IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED in a copy of the summery of the Voters' Meeting, you may stop in the church office and get one from Denise.


VBS IS SCHEDULED to be held this year June 15 thru June 19th. Plans are to have VBS in the forenoons this year with the closing program and picnic on Friday evening. Coordinating this year's VBS is Chelsea Wiese assisted by Janet Pfanstiel. If you feel that you can help out in anyway, please contact Janet or Chelsea.                                   


LUTHER CARE SERVICES, a non-profit company that manages the Luther Park Campus, has provided quality services for mature Iowans, meeting their physical, spiritual, social and psychological needs at a beautiful campus. The LWML will be collecting items for the LWML Convention in June in Des Moines. This will help them provide some resources for their residents:

Tempura Paint Glue or Glue Sticks

School Paint Brushes Pony Beads

Crayons Pony Bead Laces

There is a box in the front entry of the church if you would like to bring something for our in-gathering.


CEMETERY MOWING WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY, MAY 4TH AT 6:30 P.M. The following members are asked to please come and help mow:

Reminder: Please contact your chairman, if you plan to come during the day on Sunday or Monday, or if you cannot come at all, so that he knows who has helped mow so that your name is not put on again the next time.

IN CELEBERATION OF OSMOND'S Q125, the Q125 Committee is now accepting items of interest pertaining to Osmond's History. Items will be carefully and tastefully displayed at the Q125 Headquarters located in the building located South of Cornerstone Management during the week-end celebration. *Please have items marked with your name and address for identification. Also include names, brief description/history of item.
