WE WELCOME everyone who has worshipped with us this morning, especially our guests.  We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.                                                      

 

THE CANDLE LIGHTERS for this morning’s worship service are Morgan Brummels and Paige Schultze.  Next Sunday morning they will be Levi Gutz and Laurel Krohn.

LWML IN-GATHERING:  In advance of the national convention, the LWML will be collecting “Gifts from the Heart”.  During the month of May we will collect Kits for Children.  These include children’s socks, box of 8 crayons, child’s safety scissors, child’s toothbrush, Christian coloring book, and a Christian story book.  All kits will be given to Orphan Grain Train.  A box will be in the front entry for collection of these items.

 

BIBLE STUDY will be held on Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. 

 

THE AFTERNOON BIBLE STUDY GROUP will meet on Wednesday afternoon, May 25th at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Margaret Broekemeier.  We would welcome new members.

 

LWML will be held on Wednesday evening, May 25th, at 7:30 pm.

LADIES!!  The First Trinity Ladies Aid of Bloomfield invites you to join us on Tuesday, June 7, at 7:00 P.M.  We welcome the return of guest speaker, Cherrie Beam-Clarke as she presents “Grit N Gumption.”  This presentation is made possible by the Nebraska Humanities Council and the First Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aid of Bloomfield as part of the NHC Speakers Bureau.  Please join us on Tuesday, June 7, at 7:00 P.M. at the First Trinity Fellowship Hall in Bloomfield for an evening of entertainment and fellowship.  If you would like to carpool to Bloomfield, please meet, here at church, at 6:15 P.M.  (Posters with more information are posted in both entries of the church).

 

CEMETERY MOWING

            The Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery will be mowed on Wednesday evening, May 25th, at 6:30 p.m., in order to have it looking neat for Memorial Day Weekend.  The following members are asked to please come and help mow: Del Gardner, Nick Johnson, Marvin Koehler, Rick Gardner, Dwight Kahny, Paul Koehler, Mark Huwaldt, Jared Koehler, Rick Koehler, Jerry Johnson, Justin Koehler, Greg Kralicek, Kevin Koehler

If you cannot come at that time, you may come anytime on Tuesday or Wednesday, but please contact you chairman, Randy Pfanstiel.

            If you cannot come at all, please get someone to come in your place.  Women and older children are welcome to come also.  We especially need push mowers and trimmers, not all riders.  Reminder:  Please contact your chairman, if you would like to come during the day, or if you cannot come at all.

REMINDER!!!  If you plan to receive Holy Communion during the worship service this morning, please remember to register with the elders in the secretary’s office before the worship service begins.  Thank You.

 

FOUND!!!  If you lost a bracelet on Easter Sunday, please check out the bracelet on the secretary’s desk, as one was found in the fellowship hall following the Easter Breakfast. 

There is also a lady’s watch on the desk that was found earlier in the year!!

 

THE LAST DAY OF 4 YEAR-OLD PRESCHOOL for this school year will be tomorrow, Monday, May 16th.

 

BIBLE STUDY will be held on Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m.

 

THE LAST DAY OF 3 YEAR-OLD PRESCHOOL for this school year will be Tuesday, May 17th.

 

PRESCHOOL GRADUATION will be held on Wednesday evening, May 18th at     7:00 p.m.  Members of Immanuel are invited to attend.

WE WELCOME MRS. LEA MCKENNA as a communicant member of our congregation, as she has transferred her church membership to Immanuel from Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Norfolk, NE.  We welcome her into our family of faith.

 

WE WELCOME JENNY JOHNSON AND HER SON AUSTIN as members of Immanuel as they have transferred their church membership to Immanuel from Grace Lutheran Church, Merriman, NE.  We welcome Jenny and Austin into our family of faith.

HOLY BAPTISM:  Benjamin Warren Huwaldt, infant son of  Mark and Tanya Huwaldt, will become a child of God today through Holy Baptism.  Sponsors are Andrea Brunssen and Brad and Marla Huwaldt.  We welcome Benjamin into our family of faith.

THANK YOU!!  The Ladies Aid members would like to thank everyone for their freewill donations given for the Fellowship hour on March 30th.  The donations totaled $796.00, which was sent to LBT to be deposited in the Beckendorf Truck Fund.  Thank You again.
