WE WISH TO THANK THE CONGREGATION for the opportunity to purchase our own home.  The parsonage was wonderful and really was “home” to us for nearly 14 years.  Our desire to own had nothing to do with wanting out of the parsonage!  It will take awhile, but the house on Hill Street will become home to us well into our retirement years.

Our thanks are overdue to all the wonderful members who have helped us in this endeavor in so many ways.  The boxes, the painting, the lifting, the trailers, the meals, the yard work, assistance in unmentionable ways have all been so wonderful and welcome.  We hesitate to mention names because some have helped without our knowledge and we wouldn’t want to overlook anyone.  But many of you helped on big move days, not only once but some came back for more in the brutal heat!  The young legs were especially good help to us all.  Thank you, everyone of you!

Now if we can only get Pastor out of the yard and the garage…
