UPDATING YOU ON MY MAYO PROGRESS:  The end of the year test at Rochester was to show where/if any lymphatic system had a leak. It definitely showed up, so a vascular surgeon wanted to fix it by tying it off.  He didn't want to combine his surgery with the urology surgery to remove the kidney, so we returned to Rochester for that surgery.  "Cautiously optimistic" is how the surgeon described the outcome because he discovered multiple leaks and tied off the major ones, hoping the ones he couldn't pinpoint wouldn't be bad enough to continue the problem of fluid building in my obdomen.  Unfortunately my back is continuing to give me pain, and I'm currently searching for some relief from that.  Pain medication causes other problems so the vicious cycle goes on.  But I'm not giving up.  I'm definitely slowing down, but my prayer is to return to serving Immanuel and the Lord as soon as I'm able.  Pastor Trowbridge
