THE LADIES AID is celebrating its 100th Anniversary. Flowers have been placed at the altar in commemoration of the event. GUEST NIGHT AT FIRST TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, BLOOMFIELD. The ladies of First Trinity Lutheran Church, Bloomfield, would like to invite you to guest night. This year we are pleased to welcome Pastor Bobby and Karen Peters. They are returning from a Reformation Tour in Germany and will share key points from the tour as well as pictures and personal experiences including Luther's Life. These will go to four different agencies – Albuquerque Christian Children (Privately funded foster care that emphasizes Christianity), Care Net (works with unplanned pregnancies – Pro-Life!), Lutheran World Relief (focuses on international disaster relief and recovery), and Ysleta Lutheran Mission (provides ministry and human care on both sides of the US/Mexico border).

JOHN 3:16 CHRISTIAN CROSS FESTIVAL—Mark your calendars! You are cordially invited to join us at the 13th Annual Christian Cross Festival to be held at Skyview Lake in Norfolk, NE nest Friday, June 9th from 6 – 11 p.m. and Saturday, June 10th from 12 (Noon) to 11 pm. This is a family friendly event that will include Christian music, testimony, children's activities, inflatables, kayaks and fireworks. WASHING OF REBIRTH: Taytum Carter, daughter of Levi and Rachel Gutz, born March 22, 2017 will be brought into God's Kingdom of Grace through the washing of Holy Baptism in our service this morning. Seth Gutz, Ashley Blanchard and James Hagedorn will serve as sponsors, with Travis and Linda Gutz as witnesses. We thank the LORD for making Taytum His child and heir through Holy Baptism, and we pray that she will continue to live in her baptismal grace all the days of her life, and into eternity. They are returning from a Reformation Tour in Germany and will share key points from the tour as well as pictures and personal experiences including Luther's Life. GIFTS FROM THE HEART—Albuquerque 2017—Our LWML society has chosen to give Gift Cards at the National LWML Convention as our item for the National LWML convention this summer. $10 or $25 amounts recommended to Walmart, K-Mart, Kohl's or J C Penney. Donations of gift cards may be given to President Deb Gutz. If you would like to donate cash, she would be glad to get gift cards for you. These will go to four different agencies – Albuquerque Christian Children (Privately funded foster care that emphasizes Christianity), Care Net (works with unplanned pregnancies – Pro-Life!), Lutheran World Relief (focuses on international disaster relief and recovery), and Ysleta Lutheran Mission (provides ministry and human care on both sides of the US/Mexico border).

They are in need all items, such as cereal, personal items, soap, toilet tissue, laundry soap, cake mixes, etc. They do still have enough canned green beans and spaghetti sauce at this time.
