CHOIR PRACTICE will be at 8:30 this morning. Everyone is welcome, including high school students.

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS are still needed for grades 1 & 2 and for grades 3-5. PLEASE contact Cory Hille or Kari Miller if you would consider teaching our young children.

ADULT BIBLE CLASS, which is entitled, “Prophet, Priest, and King” is a study on 1st and 2nd Samuel. It is a study consideration of “The Tribe, The Nation, and The Empire.” We will consider how God’s Words orders community life, from family to congregation , from church to nation and world and empire. LWML regular monthly meeting will be this Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. New members are always welcome!

WE ARE CURRENTLY RAISING FUNDS to replace the sign on the NE corner of the church with a digital sign. Donations may be put in the offering plate (clearly marked for the digital sign) or dropped off at the church office. Total collected so far is $7,399.50. Our goal is to collect $22,000 so the sign can be read from both directions.

TIRED OF WRITING A CHECK TO CHURCH EVERY WEEK? - We are receiving these payments on the 1st and 15th of the month. You can choose one or both of these dates. If you are interested (it is not mandatory) in doing this, please stop in the office and Deb will have you fill out the needed form.

TRUNK OR TREAT – The Sunday School is asking if people from congregation would be willing to come to the church parking lot on October 31st, decorate their trunks and hand out candy from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.. Contact Kari Miller for more information at 402-640-6330.

PICTURES TAKEN – Beginning Sunday, November 7th, we would like to start taking pictures of all of our members as they come into church. We will have a wall (or two) with the pictures and name badges for everyone to wear to help Pastor Scott & Sonja get to know us a little better. These pictures will also be used in our Church 360 program.

CHURCH STEEPLE: The trustees are considering removing the steeple on top of the church before the church gets new shingles in the spring. Comments/ideas, whether positive or negative may be expressed to any member of the Board of Trustees – Justin Koehler, Randy Pfanstiel, Brody Friedrich, Jordan Koehler and Wayne Koehler.

REMINDER: Please save all BEST CHOICE labels/bar codes! Preschool is still saving the labels/bar codes. This is a continuous collection so you can collect them the whole year. There is a box on top of the bulletin boxes or you can place them in Julie Slagle’s box. Thank you!
