WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning. We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

WELCOME to Pastor Michael Buchhorn, Senior Pastor at Grace Lutheran in Wayne, who is our guest preacher and Bible Study leader today, while Pastor Lilienkamp and Darlene are vacationing in Colorado.

OUR CANDLELIGHTERS for this morning are Caden Wingert and Landon Oltjenbruns. Next Sunday they will be Mason Gansebom and Keyston Pfanstiel.

OUR READER for this morning is LYF member, Hudson Schultze. Next Sunday the reader will be Ed Brummels. Helping with communion next week will be Paul Koehler and Ross Stelling.

FLOWERS ON THE PIANO this morning are from the family of Jim Broekemeier, as Jim is celebrating his 91st birthday this Friday. God’s blessings to you, Jim!

ADULT BIBLE CLASS will be held this morning by Pastor Buchhorn and will be studying Psalm 90. Everyone is welcome to join us this morning!

SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL will be held today!

SPECIAL CALL MEETING will be held tonight at 7:00 p.m. to vote on the next pastor to call to serve Immanuel. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Again, only voting members will be able to vote. You may arrive up to one hour early to look over the bios of each candidate if you would like.

THE IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CEMETERY will be mowed tomorrow, July 26th at 6:00 p.m. The following members are asked to please come and help mow:

Women and older children are also welcome to help mow. We need riders, push mowers and trimmers in order to do a good job. PLEASE RAISE MOWER DECKS AS THE HOSES FOR THE TREES ARE GETTING HIT BY THE MOWERS!

WHAT ABOUT BOOKS have been revised and are available for you near the bulletin boxes. These books are easy to read and explain what Lutherans believe and teach about topics important for today.

THE LUTHERAN HOUR: Today, “The Peace Child” with speaker Rev. Dr. Michael Zeigler based on Ephesians 3. The Lutheran Hour airs on WJAG both AM 780 and FM 105.9 on Sundays at 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

MAIN STREET LIVING NEWS: This is the Life – “My Husband, My Sorrow” – A man and a woman must deal with whether they should consummate an adulterous affair. Worship Service – Rev. Lucas Booher of Zion Lutheran Church in Storm Lake, IA, delivers the message “The Promises of God” based on Genesis 9:8-17. Additional information is available on the website: www.mainstreetliving.com. These shows air today beginning at 10:00 AM on KCAU-9 TV out of Sioux City.

A DIGITAL SIGN is being considered to replace the sign on the NE corner of the church. A poster has been made and is in the back of church this morning. Donations from memorials and/or members is how the sign will be paid for. Any comments or suggestions may be given to the committee members: LaDonna Stanosheck, Randy Pfanstiel and Deb Gutz.

CARD SHOWER - Former members Ralph and Linda Mickley will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on August 8th. Their children are hosting a card shower to honor the blessed event. The family has requested no gifts, but they would love for you to send a card with a special note or memory to Ralph and Linda. Their new address is: Ralph and Linda Mickley, 509 Smiley Avenue, Ames, Iowa 50014 The couple can also be reached at mickley1@comcast.net.

WORKERS STILL NEEDED on the following dates: August 29th and September 2nd, 3rd and 6th. The Nebraska Lutheran Laymen’s League is hosting the LLL State Fair booth beginning Friday, August 27 through Monday, September 6. If you are willing to help, some dates are still available.
