WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning. We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

OUR READER for this morning and next Sunday will be Dwight Kahny. Helping with communion next week will be Larry Krohn and Mike Johnson.

CANDLELIGHTERS for this morning are Juliana Kumm and Cali Gutz. Next Sunday they will be Hudson Schultze and Karter Johnson.

COLLEGE STUDENTS REMEMBERED – Gift cards will be sent THIS WEEK. A basket for donations is set up in the back of church if you would like to help let them know our congregation is thinking of them during their semester finals.

FEEDBACK NEEDED: The voter’s assembly has asked members of the congregation for some feedback on what you would like for flooring in the fellowship hall and the church proper. Do you like the squares that were put in the east entrance and offices? Would you like to see something different? Please let the flooring committee know your preference by November 11th, by contacting them in person or put a note in their bulletin box, so they can compile the answers and a decision can be made. Members of the flooring committee are Patti Ketelsen, Pam Johnson and Joan Streich. Thank You!

COVID PRECAUTIONS AT SUNDAY WORSHIP: At the present time the Board of Elders have decided, in light of increasing number of cases in the area, to increase the health caution at worship services. This means every other pew is marked off, masks are encouraged but not required, handshaking is avoided, and communion distribution moved to the conclusion of the service. These changes are temporary to minimize COVID. The Lord’s Supper, a treasure of the Lord’s presence, is normally celebrated at the altar with blessing for each table. We treasure that intimate reception of the Body and Blood at the altar. While receiving the Sacrament at the conclusion of the service, walking out, doesn’t seem as reverent, it remains the holy Sacrament of the Lord. Pray that, through God’s blessing, all segments of our lives, at home, work, school, community and church will get back to a full normal.

SUNDAY SCHOOL PARENTS: Please let Lacy Johnson know whether your child/children will be participating in the Christmas Eve program, which will be held at 6:30 p.m. Contact her by cell @ 402-649-7913, after church or on Facebook.

LADIES AID MEMBERS: There will not be a Ladies Aid this week and they will not be packing cheer boxes as well.

MISSION SUNDAY NOVEMBER 22: Pastor Carl and Darlene Lilienkamp will give a presentation on the Alaska Mission for Christ missions in Alaska. The presentation will highlight their work every summer and the winter of 2019. A PowerPoint presentation on Alaska missions will be given during the Bible class time after worship. Pastor Lilienkamp will also highlight missions and Alaska missions for the Sunday sermon. Please come to the presentation to learn about missions in the 49th state, the last frontier. A door offering will be received that day for the work of Alaska Missions for Christ and the work that Pastor Carl and Darlene are doing with Alaska Mission for Christ.

PASTOR LILIENKAMP is available Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and Wednesday evenings. He is teaching Confirmation class from 4-5:30 PM. Thursday mornings, he is available before and after 9:00 AM Bible class. Thursday afternoon available until 3 PM. To ensure contact, please call Pastor Lilienkamp (402-369-2529) to check availability as sometimes shut-in visits, home visits or meetings might be scheduled during these times. Thank You! If you need pastoral care other days, please call his phone number listed.

ADULT BIBLE CLASS is studying the book of EXODUS. The study is a fast-moving chapter by chapter focusing on theological truths that are still relevant for our lives today. Today’s class will learn if our prayers need to sanitized before God will listen or can we pray expressing all our thoughts even if they are not pretty.
