WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning. We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

OUR READER for this morning is Paul Koehler and next Sunday our reader will be LYF member, Connor Gutz. Helping with communion this morning are Larry Krohn and Mike Johnson.

CANDLELIGHTERS for this morning are Hudson Schultze and Karter Johnson. Next Sunday they will be Hunter Buchanan and Reese Johns.

COVID PRECAUTIONS AT SUNDAY WORSHIP: At the present time the Board of Elders have decided, in light of increasing number of cases in the area, to increase the health caution at worship services. This means every other pew is marked off, masks are encouraged but not required, handshaking is avoided, and communion distribution moved to the conclusion of the service. These changes are temporary to minimize COVID. The Lord’s Supper, a treasure of the Lord’s presence, is normally celebrated at the altar with blessing for each table. We treasure that intimate reception of the Body and Blood at the altar. While receiving the Sacrament at the conclusion of the service, walking out, doesn’t seem as reverent, it remains the holy Sacrament of the Lord. Pray that, through God’s blessing, all segments of our lives, at home, work, school, community and church will get back to a full normal.

John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son that whosever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life,” is the Gospel in a nutshell in the New Testament. Did you know there is a Gospel in a nutshell for the book of Exodus? It is just as powerful and important. Why not join the adult Bible class this morning, covering the book of Exodus, to learn the Gospel in a nutshell for the book of Exodus.

FOOD PANTRY COLLECTION: We will once again be collecting items for the food pantry at the Thanksgiving Eve service on Wednesday, November 25th at 7:00 p.m.

SUNDAY SCHOOL PARENTS: Please let Lacy Johnson know whether your child/children will be participating in the Christmas Eve program, which will be held at 6:30 p.m. Contact her by cell @ 402-649-7913, after church or on Facebook.

COLLEGE STUDENT PARENTS: Please remind your children to check their mail as cards have been sent & they should receive them this week!

THE LWML MONTHLY MEETING will be held this Wednesday evening, the 18th at 7:30 p.m. (This is a week early due to Thanksgiving.)
