WE WELCOME EVERYONE who has worshipped with us this morning. We hope you will be able to worship with us again soon.

OUR READER for this morning is Paul Koehler, and next Sunday our reader will be Dwight Kahny. Helping with communion this morning are Mike Johnson and Larry Krohn.

CANDLELIGHTERS for this morning are Spencer Hille and Caden Wingert. Next Sunday they will be Juliana Kumm and Cali Gutz.

DUE TO THE INCREASED NUMBER OF COVID-19 CASES in our community and surrounding areas, we are going to implement the same procedures as earlier in the year. We will practice social distancing by sitting every other pew, with just your family. Communion will again be served at the end of the service as you exit. When receiving communion, please hold out your hand flat to receive the host from Pastor and then take a cup from an Elder and throw the up away in one of the baskets at each exit. Wearing of masks is encouraged, but not required. Pastor Lilienkamp and the Elders appreciate your cooperation in this matter. God’s Blessings and Stay Safe!

CONFIRMATION CLASS PARENTS: There will be a meeting immediately after church TODAY with Pastor and the Elders about what to expect this year. Letters have been sent out with information regarding this.

The “BIBLE BUDDY MINISTRY” begins today and will continue until March 2021. This ministry is being hosted by the 5th & 6th Grade midweek class. They would like to thank members of the congregation who agreed to be their Bible Buddies. These members have been matched up with one of the students who will offer spiritual encouragement through anonymous notes and gifts. The students are excited to begin this ministry and want to remind their Buddies to check the “Buddy Bulletin Board” in the west entryway for your first letters!

COLLEGE STUDENTS REMEMBERED DURING SEMESTER FINALS – Gift cards will be sent NEXT WEEK . Donations will be accepted in a basket after church today and next Sunday or can be given to Deb in the church office.

COLLEGE ADDRESSES NEEDED! Please stop in, call or e-mail the church office with the addresses and cell phone numbers if possible. We would also love to have the college they are attending and what their major is.

THE CONGREGATION SELF STUDY, which help with the call process are due TODAY! The box is on the shelf by the bulletin boxes!! Extra copies are also by the bulletin boxes.

SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE CLASS is studying of the book of Exodus. Exodus, the second book of the Bible, is the most instructive book of the Old Testament for the life and ministry of Jesus. Exodus is filled with parallels to Jesus’ life and ultimately our own Christian lives. It will be instructive, joyful, exciting and fun to discover these many parallels. Come to Sunday morning Bible class for chapter by chapter study of Exodus. Class will offer ample opportunity to learn, question and discuss this important Bible book.

ARE YOU MISSING A COAT? There are several coats/jackets that have been left in both entrances over the last year or so. They are now all in the west entrance of the church. Please check to see if any belong to you. Any not claimed, will be taken to the Orphan Grain Train in a couple weeks.

PASTOR LILIENKAMP is available Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and Wednesday evenings. He will be teaching confirmation class from 4-5:30 PM. Thursday mornings, he is available before and after 9:00 AM Bible class. Thursday afternoon available until 3 PM. To ensure contact, please call Pastor Lilienkamp (402-369-2529) or the church office to check availability as sometimes shut-in visits, home visits or meetings might be scheduled during these times. Thank You! HONEY SUNDAY is hosted by the LYF group last Sunday and today. They have a table set up by both entrances of the church to place your orders.

FEEDBACK NEEDED: The voter’s assembly has asked members of the congregation for some feedback on what you would like for flooring in the fellowship hall and the church proper. Do you like the squares that were put in the east entrance and offices? Would you like to see something different? Please let the flooring committee know your preference by November 11th, by contacting them in person or put a note in their bulletin box, so they can compile the answers and a decision can be made. Members of the flooring committee are Patti Ketelsen, Pam Johnson and Joan Streich. Thank You!

THE HEARING ASSIST DEVICES have had the batteries replaced and are working. Please feel free to use them if needed.

CONGREGATION SELF STUDY has been printed & put in everyone’s bulletin boxes. Extras have been printed and are on the bulletin box ledge. The deadline to return them is next Sunday, November 1st. There will be a box in the secretary’s office that you can put your study in when you are done. Everyone is encouraged to fill one out! If they are gone, please ask for one from the church secretary.THANK YOU!

ADDITIONAL DONATIONS NEEDED: The cemetery directory committee is asking for more donations so that the shelter for the cemetery directory can be finished. Your donations can be put in the offering and we ask that you please note on your check that is what your donation is for.

CONFIRMATION is being held this morning for a Junior Confirmation class student who was unable to be with us on August 23rd: Juliana Rae Kumm, daughter of Anthony and Cassandra Micklevitz, was born on March 23, 2006 and was baptized by Rev. Gary Trowbridge on November 17, 2012. Her sponsors are Montana and Cindy Miller. Her confirmation verse is Joshua 1:9. “Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

THE FLOWERS ON THE PIANO have been given in honor of Lois Koehler’s 80th birthday by her children and their families. We thank them for sharing and we wish Lois God’s blessings for many more happy birthdays.

THANK YOU to those who cleaned the parsonage & brought in furniture for the parsonage. It is nice and cozy for Pastor and Darlene.

THE QUARTERLY VOTER’S MEETING will be held this Wednesday, October 21st at 8:00 p.m. Discussion will be held on carpet for the rest of the church, election of 2020 officers among other items. All voters are encouraged to attend so we have a quorum, along with anyone wishing to become a voter.

Adults $12.00, Children 5-10 $5.00, Ages 4 and under Kiddie Meal $2.00. (Kiddie meal: Brat, mashed potatoes, Corn and Cookie). Meal includes: Bratwurst, German Meatballs, Eisbein and Sauerkraut, Hot German Potato Salad – Hot Macaroni Salad, American Potatoes, Many other salads, Cheesecakes, Pie, Cupcakes, and bars. TODAY we celebrate LWML Sunday. We thank all of you that wore purple, and for your support this last year. Thank you for giving to our Mites and for supporting all of our projects. A display is set up in the back of the church to tell you about some of our Mission Grants, and our Osmond LWML projects. We meet the 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. and we would love to have more members!
